After you submit a report, you’ll get an automated message confirming we received it. A Title IX staff member will then review your report. You’ll only be contacted if we need more information from you. Otherwise, the Title IX Office will reach out directly to the complainant (person who was harmed) to offer support and resources.

You Received an Email from “Notifications@Maxient.com”

The Office of Compliance & Title IX uses Maxient for email correspondence and outreach to Rutgers students, employees, and third parties. Maxient is a case management software for offices of higher education, used at more than 1300 institutions.

A Maxient letter from the Office of Student Affairs Compliance & Title IX is official correspondence on behalf of Rutgers University.

For students, you will be prompted to log in using your net ID in order to view the letter. For all other parties, the letter will appear as an attachment. Please note letters may also contain one or more important attachments for your review.

Occasionally, emails that are sent on behalf of Maxient may appear to be potential spam or phishing. All Rutgers students, employees, and third parties should check their spam folder if they cannot find a letter in their inbox or if they are expecting an email from our office.
