Amnesty for Student Alcohol and Drug Violations
Sometimes students may be reluctant to report instances of sexual misconduct because they fear being charged with University alcohol or drug policy violations. The University encourages students to report all instances of conduct prohibited by this Policy and will take into consideration the importance of reporting such conduct in addressing violations of the University's alcohol and drug policies. Normally, the University will not respond punitively to alcohol or other drug violations associated with prohibited conduct reported under this Policy. Amnesty does not apply in situations where alcohol or other drugs are used as a tool to facilitate a violation of this Policy and/or instances of illegal alcohol or other drug distribution.
Amnesty for Social Distance Violations
Sometimes students may be reluctant to report instances of sexual misconduct because they fear being charged with University social distance violations. The University encourages students to report all instances of conduct prohibited by this Policy and will take into consideration the importance of reporting such conduct in addressing violations of the University's social distance policies. Normally, the University will not respond punitively to such violations associated with prohibited conduct reported under this Policy.
