Title IX Coordinators can assist those in the Rutgers community with understanding reporting options for sexual and relationship misconduct, as well as determining appropriate steps following a report/disclosure. The Title IX Coordinator is designated with upholding compliance with Title IX and other state and federal laws related to gender-based violence and discrimination. Coordinators are trained staff members that follow complaint and investigation procedures, answer questions about relevant policies, and ensures the university is addressing sexual and domestic/relationship violence issues on campus.
