Bill Spear is the Associate Director of the Office of Student Affairs Compliance & Title IX at Rutgers University - New Brunswick. As the Associate Director, Bill is responsible for overseeing reports of sexual harassment, sexual violence, relationship violence, and stalking involving Rutgers students as well as helping students access supportive measures and accommodations related to any potential policy violations under the Title IX Policy and Grievance Procedures.
Prior to joining the Office of Student Affairs Compliance and Title IX in September 2018, Bill worked in Residence Life at Rutgers University training and recruiting Resident Assistants. He has also worked in the Office of Testing and Placement at Rutgers University advising incoming students, parents, and faculty regarding Placement Testing requirements. Bill received his Ed.M in College Student Affairs and his B.A. in Psychology from Rutgers University.
